The timing was perfect, right before we were forced to be quarantined for the unforeseeable future we rallied, and we rallied hard. The 2020 Coastal Range Rally was a fun one and let us all forget about this pandemic for a few days.

The rally started in Sausalito and the three-day adventure ended in Napa, CA. The roads and weather were challenging, but most of us had an amazing time. My 1985 Porsche 944 had a loud clunk and vibration that got worse as time went on, so I skipped a lot of the best roads, taking the shortest routes from stop to stop. Even though I didn’t get to have any good runs, I still had a blast hanging out and capping snaps. Planning these rallies takes a ton of work, but seeing all of my fellow rally goers enjoying the roads makes it all worth it and justifies the amount of time we put into it. It always amazes me that we can get a group of 100 people and there isn’t a single bad apple. This community we have formed is something special and the comparisons to summer camp are perfect. I love hanging out with my DWA! Rally family!
